You Need A (Real) Job To Pay A Mortgage
Anyone with half a brain knew that all the outsourcing would lead to widespread unemployment . When this was brought up to government officials back in the ’70′s, (for those who remember) their response was that Americans would have “hi-tech” jobs in the future, and not have to work in factories.
How’s that hi-tech job working out for ya?
The only way is to reverse course and bring back those jobs that were outsourced. Companies who have significant workforces overseas should be IMMEDIATELY taxed for the difference in what they are paying their low-paid overseas workers compared to what comparable domestic wages would cost them.
This may seem radical, but we have to REVERSE COURSE, and do it NOW. We have run out of time.
Anything else and we’re toast as a society. Obama has been a disappointing leader. He may face intransigent opposition, but hell he asked for the job. He’s just not up to it. We need a guy like Patton, and the hell with the opposition party. Let them give up their salaries anyway, since they’re certainly not earning it!
